WHAT IS RESTYLANE VITAL?
Restylane Vital® is a natural beauty treatment that gently replenishes
our own hyaluronic acid, reversing the ‘tell-tale’ signs of ageing. It is
used to treat larger areas of skin on the face, neck, front of upper
chest and back of hands.
WHAT WILL YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH RESTYLANE VITAL BE LIKE?
The Restylane Vital® is a light form of hyaluronic acid. It is very water
loving so when it is placed beneath the skin it will effectively moisturise
the skin from within. The treatment requires a number of injections to
place the product under the skin. The area is numbed before injections
using local anaesthetic cream so the procedure is quite comfortable.
There is no downtime after the treatment and it should last up to 3
months. The gel is injected evenly throughout the area to be treated
using a fine needle. Since there is no need for pre-testing, treatment
typically takes just 15-30 minutes. The discomfort is minimal though
a anaesthetic cream can be applied to the treatment area.
SIDE EFFECTS
Hyaluronic acid is not extracted from animals. There is no risk of allergic reactions and it is used instantly without pre-testing. Short-term common injection-related reactions may occur: redness, pain, itching, tenderness and bruising.
THE FUTURE
Restylane Vital® releases hyaluronic acid gradually over a period of time, with benefits generally lasting several months. There are no restrictions on how often you can receive treatment. We advise you to have the first three treatments at 4 weeks interval. Thereafter the procedure may be repeated as often as you wish, ensuring you look and feel great.
